Statue of Liberty

The best way to reach the Statue of Liberty is to use a ferry from the Battery Park to Liberty Island. This trip should take at least 90 minutes. The first ferry leaves at 9 AM while the last ferry leaves at 5 PM.

Central Park

Central Park is as much of a park as it is a concert hall and a museum. Located right in the middle of New York, the Central Park is famous as one of the most famous attractions of the city. This 843 acre oasis is a favorite among locals and tourists alike and it is possible to visit the Central Park to check out architectural delights, dine, explore the zoo, exercise and enjoy nature. With more than 21 playgrounds, 48 fountains and sculptures and 36 bridges, there is always something to explore in Central Park. Some of the most popular attractions in the park include Alice in Wonderland, Bethesda Fountain, Loeb Boathouse, Strawberry Fieldsand the Wollman Memorial Rink.

Times Square

The humongous Waterfort Crystal Ball descends 77 feet from the one of the buildings while locals have a blast. Empire State Building

Empire State Building is a must see while in New York. This Midtown Manhattan structure attracts crowds despite the heavy fees and serpentine queues. In fact, people state that you’re likely to end up feeling sorry if you choose to ignore the Empire State Building while in New York. If you’re lucky enough to visit the Empire State Building on a clear day, you should be able to see the main highlights of the city about 1050 feet below you from the Empire State Building observation deck.

Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is full of breathtaking sculptures, a magnificent skating rink, hundreds of restaurants, cafes and stores and a view of NBC Studios. The place is always crowded, but it is definitely worth visiting at least once. If you plan your visits properly, you can also catch a shooting of the popular “Today” show or enjoy an evening performance at the Radio City Music Hall.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, also known as The Met, is considered to be one of the most celebrated museums in the world.
