Martini Madness

//Martini Madness

Whether you prefer it shaken or stirred, Las Vegas is the place to go if you want to indulge in some martini madness. From classic James Bond-inspired martinis to innovative combinations created by master mixologists, these are some of the best places to grab a martini in Vegas.

Red Square, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
No one can do martini madness quite like the Russians, making Red Square at Mandalay Bay one of the hottest martini spots in town. This Lenin-era, Russian-themed restaurant serves around 200 different brands of vodka from all over the globe, priding themselves on having one of the largest vodka selections in the world. The restaurant is known for their Ice Bar, and, of course, for the innovative martinis created by their master mixologists. For those of you who prefer a sweeter side to your drink, try the cherry martini, while those of you who are feeling adventurous should ask for the habanero-infused vodka martini with blue cheese olives.

Mandarin Bar, Mandarin Oriental
With floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the glittering skyline of Las Vegas, the Mandarin Bar is one of the most stylish spots in the city to enjoy a martini. Hand-crafted cocktails feature fresh ingredients, as well as an Asian twist, and guests can also speak to the mixologists about their preferences for a one-of-a-kind concoction. The bar is known for their martinis, with one of the most popular ones being the Mandarin Martini, a tongue-tingling combination of Hendrick’s, Aperol, muddled mandarins, pineapple and fresh lime juice.

Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill
With a flaming pool where you can sit and enjoy your drinks fireside, the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill is retro chic yet incredibly romantic. One of their signature martinis is their Key Lime Pie Martini, made with Midori melon, Stoli vanilla vodka and pineapple juice, and then shaken with whipped cream before finally being poured into a glass rimmed with graham cracker crumbs. The bar has a shortlist of twelve other martinis to choose from, from the Retro-tini to the Champord and Pineapple to the Chocolate Monkey with Stoli.

Blue Martini, Las Vegas Blvd S
Situated at Town Square, Blue Martini is a chic and upscale cocktail lounge that, as you can tell from their name, specializes in martinis. The Blue Martini on Blue Martini’s menu is made from Van Gogh Blue Vodka, Triple Sec, Blue Curacao and orange juice, and is served with a glow stick, while the Chocolate Raspberry Martini has the perfect level of sweetness to enjoy after a meal. Blue Martini also has a section of their menu featuring lighter cocktails that are each under 250 calories, from the Skinny Rita to the Not-a-Lotta-Colada.

There is no doubt that these are some of the best martini spots in Vegas, offering everything from a classic martini to innovative fruit and herb infused martinis to low calorie skinny martinis. Whether you take in the Strip from above at the Mandarin Bar or relax by the flaming jacuzzi at the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill, each of these spots promises a martini that you will never forget.
